OUR CHURCH

Seasons Church is a local church with a big heart and vision for the Charters Towers Community. Our desire is to see many lives impacted and transformed and to be a place where people can find hope, help and healing.

We understand that there are different seasons in life. Seasons for individuals, seasons for families, and even seasons for church. Therefore, our goal is to reveal Christ to everyone in every season, by adding value and significance to all who visit us or meet us in our day to day lives.

Our tagline “For God so loved the world”, is the motivation behind everything we do, inspiring us to connect with the disconnected, support individuals and families in our region, and meet the practical and spiritual needs of our community. We offer many ministries and small group opportunities for people to get connected and find a place to call home,
including children, youth, adults, and families.

Whether you are starting your journey to discover God, are visiting Charters Towers, or are searching for a new church to call home, Seasons Church is a friendly and encouraging environment that will make you feel welcome and supported on your journey.

OUR PASTORS

Our Pastors, Bennett & Stacey believe that every individual has a God given purpose and through their life message of hope, identity, inheritance and the love of God, aim to see others encouraged to reach their fullest potential. Both have dedicated their life to helping people overcome many of life's challenges, by encouraging and equipping them to live a life of freedom and hope and helping them to tap into the many Kingdom realities that are available to every Christ follower.

Bennett & Stacey have a burning desire to be a blessing to others, and both are passionate to live a life of generosity. Their ministries compliment each other beautifully, each with their own unique personality, providing a balanced approach to the Christian life.

OUR CONNECT GROUPS

BETTER TOGETHER

Seasons Connect Groups are the heart and soul of our church - a place where relationships are built, gifts are discovered and developed, leaders are grown and personal care happens. Our Connect Groups include interest groups, specialty groups and focus groups that provide a wonderful place for everyone to find community, grow in their faith and discover their destiny.

We believe that we are better together, and that community holds the key to achieving our goals as a church as well as reaching our individual destinies. That's why we don’t just want to be a church that has connect groups, we want to be a church of connect groups. Connect groups provide opportunity to connect into and serve community, as well as help every individual to identify, explore and activate their gifts, passions and reach their ultimate destiny.

OUR KIDS

Seasons Church recently launched a brand new and unique children's ministry program that aims to disciple and develop our precious children.

We believe our children are our future, so it is our priority to build a safe, age appropriate learning environment that helps our children grow in their relationship with God, as well as understand that they are loved, valued and given every opportunity to become all that God has designed them to be.

OUR GIVING

Seasons Church is a generous church. We believe in being generous with our time, talents, and treasure, as we give joyfully as an expression of worship for all that God has done for us, and provided to us. Our hope is that everyone in Seasons Church would have a desire to give as Paul teaches us in 2 Corinthians 9:7 in the Amplified Bible:

Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it” ) giver [whose heart is in his giving].

We also give to support the ongoing work of the church, our community, to help extend the mission of the church and to honour God with our giving.

CHAPLAINCY

Seasons Church Community Chaplaincy, lead by our very own Chappy Lydia Griffiths, is a new initiative that aims to bring hope into the Charters Towers Community by building relationships and sharing God's love through acts of love, service, practical help, home visits, support, social & spiritual connection and a listening ear.
